SWAT Called to Cedar Lake Home

The Indiana Northwest Regional SWAT team was called to a home in Cedar Lake today.  Swat was part of a large police presence in the 7600 block of Lake Shore Drive to assist Indiana Department of Child Services.   The agency had a court order in connection to an ongoing investigation and the welfare of children in the home was in question regarding a possible medical situation.  At first the parents were not cooperating with authorities, but Cedar Lake Police say in the end the situation was resolved peacefully.
