Six Years for Repeated DUI’s

A Coal City man who had multiple arrests for driving under the influence when arrested again for DUI in 2023 has pleaded guilty aggravated DUI and has been sentenced to seven years in prison.  However, if 68 year old Roberto Rodriquez passes an alternative treatment Grundy County court program, he goes free.  If not, Rodriquez will have to serve out his full sentence.    At the time of his arrest, Rodriquez had a driving record that included five DUI convictions and three convictions for driving on a revoked license.
