Fire in Diamond Thursday

Firefighters were called to a business in the 2700 block of East Division in Diamond Thursday morning.  Wilmington Fire saying a Taco Bell KFC combo store had a small fire in the wall of the restaurant, just inside the entrance. The fire was quickly extinguished. The building was filled with light smoke for a time and was closed pending a Health Department inspection.  There are no reports of injuries. The cause is under investigation.
