County looks to partner with Feds on bridge work

During this morning’s meeting of the Kankakee County Board’s Highways and Waterways committee, the committee voted to authorize the County Board Chairman to sign an agreement with the Feds for work on the County Highway 17 bridge over the Exline Slough. Heiden pointed out that at this time, the bridge is closed to traffic because it’s unsafe.
